Port / Hole Thirteen

446 Yard Par 5, HCP M-12, W-10

Hole Thirteen - 446 Yard Par 5, HCP M-12, W-10

A par five that looks easy on the scorecard, the 13th features a landing area guarded short right and long left by bunkers. A deep swale short of the green requires the most accurate of shots. A well-hit shot will roll onto the green. The deep kettle hole short and right is definitely the place to avoid.

This hole is named for Captain Robert Irvine: 1807-1853

A betting man who wagered with fellow captains on his vessel’s speed; he usually won…until he didn’t.
