Hole Seventeen - 179 Yard Par 3, HCP 18

A par three that is slightly downhill to a green that is framed with bunkers front, right and left. A roll through the center of the green divides the putting surface into front and rear portions.

This hole is named for Captain Nathaniel Chase: 1832-1870 (circa)

An early victim of modernization: Passenger travel aboard his packet, the Rough and Ready, suffered when the railroad reached Barnstable in 1854.

18-Hole riding carts are restricted to those with a 1:30 tee time or earlier and 9-Hole riding carts are restricted to those with a 3:27 tee time or earlier. Double riders are allowed.
