Holes

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 1

Hole One - 376 Yard Par 4, HCP 11

A drive down the right side of the fairway leaves a mid-to-long iron to a flat green and helps to take the bunkers left of the green out of play.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 2

Hole Two - 162 Yard Par 3, HCP 17

A scenic par three with a green framed by bunkers that was considered by many to be the signature hole of the original Captains, this downhill hole may require one less club than you think off the tee.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 3

Hole Three - 518 Yard Par Five, HCP M-5, W-3

The landing area for tee shots is generous and framed by a bunker pair on the left. The second landing area and green are tightly guarded by trees that add a degree of difficulty to this shortish par five.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 4

Hole Four - 451 Yard Par Four, HCP M-3, W-5

Bring your "A" game for this long par four. The tee shot is slightly uphill to a concave landing area and the green sits upon a ledge that will repel all but the most sharply struck approach shots.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 5

Hole Five - 213 Yard Par Three, HCP 13

This demanding par three is made a bit easier by its huge bail out fairway on the right. Only the most daring will shoot right for the pin over a deep kettle hole and two fronting bunkers.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 6

Hole Six - 303 Yard Par Four, HCP 15

A well deserved breather after two difficult holes, this short par four favors accuracy over distance off the tee. A tee shot placed just short of, or opposite the fairway bunker left, requires merely a wedge shot to the raised green.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 7

Hole Seven - 533 Yard Par Five, HCP 1

A long and straight tee shot will reach the start of the downhill portion of the landing area and make reaching the green in two a possibility for the strongest of players. Take time to enjoy the view of the approach and green from the drive zone and then get ready to hit a second shot to a landing area framed by bunkers left and mature oaks right.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 8

Hole Eight - 404 Yard Par Four, HCP 7

Your best tee shot will be required to reach the plateau landing area on this dogleg-left par four. The hillside to the left of the green affords some forgiveness though, and will kick the approach onto the green.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 9

Hole Nine - 366 Yard Par Four, HCP 9

The length of this hole and the manner on which the fairway narrows further down the fairway should find you playing for position rather than length off the tee. The narrow green framed by bunkers is often more of a challenge to the approach than it appears.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 10

Hole Ten - 371 Yard Par Four, HCP M-4, W-6

On this sharp dogleg-right, drives down the left side will be sure to clear the trees at the corner. Club selection is critical on the approach as the three-level green requires accuracy and length.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 11

Hole Eleven - 218 Yard Par Three, HCP 16

Uphill all the way from tee to green, this is a par three that plays longer than the carded distance. The green though, is generously sized and open to the front to allow a run up shot to reach the putting surface.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 12

Hole Twelve - 358 Yard Par Four, HCP 14

Another hole where accuracy off the tee is more important than length, especially when you factor in a green that is guarded by a mature oak short and left and a yawning bunker right front.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 13

Hole Thirteen - 530 Yard Par Five, HCP M-10, W-2

A generous landing area allows the player to air it out off the tee on a hole that gets progressively more narrow as you approach the green. A front bunker will require a lofted shot in order to reach the green in regulation.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 14

Hole Fourteen - 397 Yard Par Four, HCP M-8, W-10

The fairway bunkers right provide a good aiming point on this slight dogleg-left. Taking this line on the tee shot will allow players to avoid the two large oaks that creep into the left side of the fairway between the landing area and the green.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 15

Hole Fifteen - 395 Yard Par Four, HCP 12

Take the hint of the fairway bunkers for the second hole in a row in order to avoid the mature trees that infringe on the left side of the fairway between the landing area and the green. A good tee shot will be necessary in order to gain full view of the green.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 16

Hole Sixteen - 468 Yard Par Four, HCP M-2, W-8

Some golf holes are long and some golf holes are demanding. And then there is the sixteenth! Long and demanding, the tee shot is downhill to a generous fairway. The approach to be played over the series of bunkers to a green that appears miles away is very risky. Pick your shot in which to bail out on your second and then give it your best shot to get back up and down for par.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 17

Hole Seventeen - 179 Yard Par Three, HCP 18

A par three that is slightly downhill to a green that is framed with bunkers front, right and left. A roll through the center of the green divides the putting surface into front and rear portions.

Cape Cod Golf Course Diagram for hole 18

Hole Eighteen - 534 Yard Par Five, HCP M-6, W-4

Favor the right side of the fairway with your tee shot as the left side drops off sharply into the woods. The second landing area is large and allows the players to decide from which angle they want to play their approach shots to a well-guarded green.
