  • Nonresident member number report – Gerry

 

  1. Gerry presented his and Anne’s findings on nonresident memberships and suggested a monitored target for membership. This initiated further discussion.

 

  • Membership communications – Short list of topics (requested by Anne)

 

  1. This list of suggested topics aims to enhance communication with members.
    1. 40th anniversary updates
    2. Updates to the golf shop (building improvements, etc.)
  • Updates done by golf maintenance (cart paths, starboard course, etc.)

  • Disabled Veteran AFP discount discussion and possible vote

 

  1. Jay Paggi received an email proposing a reduction to 50% from the current rate of 51%, which would help veterans make use of this discount. A discussion followed.
  2. A motion was made to recommend the reduction, and it was agreed upon unanimously.

 

  • Maintenance building report – Andrea and David

 

  1. Two architectural design firms were interviewed for the project, and a recommendation was made following the meeting.
  2. A standing report was requested for the golf commission business meeting regarding the maintenance building.

 

  • Update on fortieth anniversary – Gerry and Jay Packett

 

  1. Sixty-four pages of the book have been sent to the printer. One copy of the book will be obtained.
  2. The tournament is set for Thursday, May 22, 2025, featuring a shotgun start on the original 18-hole course layout. A reception will follow.

 

  • Questions and comments from associations and liaisons

 

  1. Victor Wolejko provided updates from the Friends of the Captains.

 

  • Future agenda items and meetings

 

  1. Proposal for ongoing communication regarding rates and fees throughout the year.
