Hole Sixteen - 468 Yard Par 4, HCP M-2, W-8

Some golf holes are long and some golf holes are demanding. And then there is the 16th! Long and demanding, the tee shot is downhill to a generous fairway. The approach to be played over the series of bunkers to a green that appears miles away is very risky. Pick your shot in which to bail out on your second and then give it your best shot to get back up and down for par.

This hole is named for Captain Barnabas Paine: 1777-1859

A skilled shipmaster who noted, “I’m going home” as he ventured into a storm. It was mission accomplished when he beached near his home at Paine’s Creek.

June 29 - The golf courses are open to General Public play and riding carts (single rider) and rental push carts are available (last 18-hole cart - 2:30/last 9-hole cart 4:30). Advance Reservations are accepted on-line by CLICKING HERE or by calling 508-896-1716. We are not accepting reservations for groups larger than three foursomes.
